Dissemination seminar - Finland (October/November 2012)

Dissemination seminar. As an important part of the continuous promotion seminar in Finland is organized. Seminar is promoted through project web pages and EVE and in all dissemination events. Organised as part of the 8th project meeting.

Promotion Event - Brussels (8th May 2012)

In May 2012, an event was organised at the House of Cities in Brussels to promote the project. This event included a presentation about the project and a networking opportunity for interested parties.

The 1st International Workshop on Mathematics and ICT: Education, Research and Applications - Bucharest, Romania, November 2010

The project hosted the 1st International Workshop on Mathematics and ICT: Education, Research and Applications on 3rd November 2010 in Bucharest, Romania. The purpose of the workshop was to provide a forum for researchers, teachers and industrial partners to share their experiences of teaching aspects of mathematical logic and discuss approaches for delivering material to students and workers.

Project Overview - Finland, May 2010

The second project meeting took place at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Finland on May 18-May 20 2010.

At the beginning of the meeting a promotion event was held to present the project to invited professionals and teaching staff. The promotion event was opened by Mr Perttu Heino, R&D Director of TAMK. The promotion event presented an overview of the project and gave detailed information about the needs analysis and ontology work. Local high-school partners were also invited to the event and they gave valuable feedback from the perspective of schools.

This meeting was delayed from April 2010 due to the European ash-cloud crisis.

Project Introduction - UK, December 2009

The first project meeting took place on Monday 7th December 2009 at the University of Warwick, Coventry, UK. The meeting was hosted in the Department of Computer Science where an introduction to the project was given and an overview of the plan of work to be completed over the course of the next three years. Local industry representatives were present and a networking session took place.

Prof. Moti Ben-Ari from Weizmann Institute of Science gave a talk entitled "Teaching Concurrency and Nondeterminism with Model Checking".
